I never gave my consent: book review

Hii,
I know i haven't posted anything this month because i was giving interviews after interviews and that is very scary thing for me to do. And because of all this interview thing going on, i was not able to read much. So i haven't had anything to talk about. But i somehow managed to read this one book called "I never gave my consent" by Holly Archer (pseudonym) and i loved this book. This is an autobiography i think.

So this book is about Holly who lived in telford and how at the age of 14 she was pushed into the fen of prostitution by some asian men. Enduring countless violent rapes and death threats, she was forced to sleep with several men a night. She became pregnant twice and because of all this she fell into despair and she took an overdose in desperate attempt to end her life. After all this she just decided to move out from telford to Birmingham. She moved house every six months fearing her abusers hunt her down. She finally got the courage to come back to Telford after giving birth to a daughter, and this same time police started investigation into the exploitation of young girls. She underwent hours of interviews but in the end decided she could not face her abusers in the court. Nonetheless, seven men were convicted of sex offence and jailed as a result of investigation. Holly slowly began to pick up the pieces of her life and was given a job with rape prevention charity.
First of all i really want to thank Holly that apart from all this happening, she had the courage to talk about this. Most women can't do this and there is nothing wrong about it. So much has already happened in their life and that must've taken all of the courage they had. And the problem with us as a society is that people tend to blame the victim and that is also a reason people don't talk about what is happening or has happened to them.
Now if we talk about the writing style, the language is pretty simple. It is like a diary language. But the writer of this book is not a professional . She just wrote what happened to her so we can give her this point.
In the end i just want to say that this is a real story of how little girls are abused by some men because of greed for money. So i think everybody should read this book if they want to know how much pain a girl go through when a man abuses her.
I felt so bad when i read about her. But one thing that was more upsetting was all this was done by some pakistani men and because of this the whole goodreads comments box was filled with how they will not see an asian man with different eyes. They will get scared of all asians. They just put the whole community under one section.
But apart from all this this is a one time read. You will cry after this a bit.
